Hi, I’m Bob Spellman and I’m responsible for providing travel opportunities for our SIR Branch.
We strive to have a variety of travel available from day trips to extended international travel.
Traveling with SIR is fun and easy. We plan the trips and take care of all the details from tips, luggage, tour guides, accommodations and transportation. Thanks to our group’s buying power we are able to provide these trips at very competitive rates. When you travel with us all you have to do is show up and be ready for a fun trip with your fellow Sirs.
Over the last few years we have traveled to many exciting places like China, Spain, Portugal, Eastern Europe, Scotland, Ireland, Finland, Estonia, and Russia. We have cruised the East Coast, visited the National Parks of the Southwest, cruised down the Danube River to the Black Sea, and had golf outings at Boulder Creek and in British Colombia.
Additionally we have gone on many day trips to places located around the Bay Area such as Wine Country tours, ball games with the Giants, A’s and Warriors, Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, Golden Gate Field races, an Angel Island tour, a tour of the Nummie Automobile Plant, and a cruise around the Bay aboard F.D.R’s yacht the Potomac and the Liberty ship Jeremiah O’Brien.
We would love to have you take advantage of our various travel opportunities. I think you will find it’s an enjoyable way to experience carefree travel without the headaches of making all the arrangements. Your suggestions for future travel are always welcome.
