Away Golf

Away Golf is offered in order to introduce additional variety in addition to our regular Tuesday golf activity and to encourage the invitation of guests who could be potential candidates for SIR membership. We try to schedule small (usually 40 golfers) tournaments at courses within an hour an a half drive from the Walnut Creek area. Tournaments are scheduled for the 3rd or 4th Thursday of the month. We focus on courses that allow carts out on the course and that offer rates of $50 or less(including green fee and cart). We usually do not schedule tournaments in months that the State Golf Committee or the SIR Area officers are having events so as not to detract from their attendance..
Ladies Invitational Golf Tournament June 11--Yountville
Reservations should be in my possession NLT Monday June 2. $60
per person includes 18 holes of golf, cart, prizes and buffet
afterwards. Non-golfers may dine with us after golf for $12.
Gentlemen-- you may pair up or form a foursome of all men and
have your ladies join us for dinner.
Putting Contest starts at 0945, shotgun at 1100.
