MEMBERSHIP
B.R. 1
Branch 146 maximum membership is set at 270 plus Honorary Life Members. (Amended 6-14-07)
B.R. 2
Luncheon meeting attendance is not mandatory for those on the waiting list. They must call the attendance chairman if they plan to attend. (Amended 9-25-97)

New members will wear different color badges for three months. (2-11-99)
B.R. 6
Following SIR Rule 100, members must attend 6 out of 12 meetings. Ladies Days are included in the 12 meetings. (8-12-99)

Beginning January 1, 2000, inactive members will be notified after 1 year that they have 1 more year of inactive status.
If they do not become active they will be dropped from the roster at the end of that period. (8-12-99)

A parking place will be reserved for each month's speaker. (3-8-01)

The induction of about three new members per month for ten months each year until the maximum membership mentioned in B.R. 1 is reached.
The Branch average age is to be computed as of every December 31st as a guide to the incoming Big Sir and BEC. (6-14-07)

The membership chairman shall maintain a waiting list with applicants listed in order of the date of receipt of applications.
Applicants will be inducted in the order of the date of their applications.
MEETINGS
B.R. 20 Executive Committee meetings will be held prior to the luncheon. (Amended 8-10-00)
B.R. 21 The Branch will pay for the Area Governor's lunch when the treasury permits. (4-16-91)
B.R. 22 Branch 146 luncheon meetings will be held the second Thursday of the month. (7-9-92)
B.R. 23 Certificates of Appreciation are to be presented to guest speakers with the name of the recipient imprinted in a professional manner. (4-14-94)
B.R. 24 May and December luncheons are designated as Ladies Days each year. (10-13-94)
B.R. 25 When 30 or more birthdays occur in the same month, two free lunches will be awarded for that month. (1-12-06)
B.R. 26 SIR members who participate in scheduled Branch 146 activities that occur on a luncheon date will be given credit for luncheon attendance. (3-9-95)
B.R. 27 Luncheon cost will include a $1.00 donation for newsletter/administration costs. (Amended 8-10-00)

B.R. 29 Members who miss a luncheon without notifying the attendance chairman will be sent a letter asking for a voluntary contribution equal to the amount paid by those attending the luncheon. (8-13-98)
ADMINISTRATIVE
B.R. 40 The outgoing Big Sir will be presented with a plaque and Past Big Sir pin. (Amended 8-10-00)
B.R. 41 There will be 2 suitcases for the Branch, one to hold the Branch name tags and second one for the ceramic mascot. (8-10-00)
B.R. 42 Past Big Sir recognition will be done once each year. (6-10-93)
B.R. 43 An approved badge will be provided to all members and those on the waiting list. (Amended 8-10-00)
B.R. 44 The December meeting will be recognized as the Branch 146 Charter Day each year. (10-12-98)
B.R. 45 Listing activities in the Newsletter satisfies the requirement of Executive Committee approval. (11-12-98)
NEWSLETTER
B.R. 50 People on the waiting list will receive the newsletter. (11-11-93)
B.R. 51 Branch 146 newsletter reporting and material is to be limited to news that directly affects the membership and the various committees and activity groups within the organization and that it not contain advertisements, publicity or public relations materials from outside organizations. B.R. 52 An account will be established at the U. S. Post Office to cover the cost of the Branch newsletter. (Amended 8-10-00)
B.R. 53 Inactive members who wish to receive the newsletter are asked to donate $6.00 to cover costs. (1-9-97)
